Magical Gap

I am a magician
and I have a magic gap

I live in a gap
between truth and false

I create illusions
that I believe in

And when the magic wears off
I make the delusions disappear

One moment I believe
and the next I don’t

I imagine that I see reality
and then I know it was a trance

I exist between acceptance
and new visions of rejection

I trick my senses to feed me
but they don’t mind the gap

They are the messengers
and I am the follower

I am the magician
and also the audience

I believe in myself
I believe in magic!
