Do I see myself?

Why do I look at others,

and why don’t I see myself?

Why do I wonder what’s out there,

and I don’t look at myself?

Why do I know the world so well,

and I don’t know who I am?

Is it because?

My eyes can never look at me

And they can look only outwards

I can’t see who I am

But I know who others are

I see how others should live

But I can’t figure out my own life

I know how to solve other’s problems

But I can never practice what I preach

I can help the world

But I can’t help myself

It is not my fault I can’t see myself

I was designed to look only at others

This is why I don’t see myself
